Officiating Clinic - Update 9/25/21

Registration is now open for the Officiating Clinics for the 2021 – 2022 season.  All returning officials must attend a clinic each year in order to be re-certified for the upcoming season.  Hockey Manitoba will be offering a hybrid model for the 2021 – 2022 season. They will be combining online and in-person teaching to set up officials for the season ahead.

New officials must be at least 13 years of age by December 31st and are required to complete the Hockey University Officiating 1/2 online course prior to registering for this clinic (separate registration charges apply).

All New officials and Level 1 officials are also required to attend an in-person skating session by December 1st.  A skating clinic will be held in Stonewall on Saturday, October 23, however, you can register for another clinic should that day not work for you.

New officials 18 years of age and older may register as a Level II official and are not required to complete Level I. The Hockey University Officiating 1/2 online program is still required prior to registering for this clinic. Advancing Level I to Level II officials must be 16 years of age as of December 31st.  Advancing Level II to Level III officials must complete the Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders prior to registering for a Level III clinic.Stonewall Minor Hockey will reimburse clinic fees provided that a minimum of six games are officiated for the Association.

More information, as well as a link to the clinic registration and dates, can be found on the Officials page of the Hockey Manitoba website (www.hockeymanitoba.ca/officials/clinics).
